About Robert

Robert Ellis is the NEA Black Caucus Pacific Regional Director and one of the members of the NEA Board of Directors for California. He has proudly taught first and second grades for 18 years.

In addition to teaching, Robert is a State Council Representative to the California Teachers Association and a past Chair of the CTA African American Caucus. He also has served and continues to serve in various capacities in his state association, local affiliate and the PTA.

Robert is truly devoted to his students, to the African American community and to the teaching profession.

Robert looks forward to working with the leadership and for the membership of the NEA Black Caucus.
